RPF Chairman: We want to transform Ngoma District

The Chairman of the RPF Inkotanyi and the party’s flagbearer in the forthcoming Presidential elections, Paul Kagame, on Sunday promised to transform Ngoma District, should they give the mandate to the RPF to lead the country in the next seven years.

He was campaigning in Ngoma District where he made his second campaign stop of the day, which he had begun from nearby Kirehe.
“We want to transform Ngoma into a modern town with modern infrastructure, electricity, schools and health facilities…there are some ongoing activities that should be finished soon but I want this town to change face,” he told the tens of thousands of Ngoma residents.
He took time to thank the people of Ngoma for their hard work, saying that he had no doubt that together, they will transform the region.
“When people work hard, when there is good governance, everything else follows.”

The day’s testimony was given by Telesphore Nyakarundi, who said he was born in refuge in a neighbouring country, where all sorts of opportunity were a preserve for nationals of that country, and not refugees.

“I was trained in modern farming practices and I immediately embarked on putting it into practice and as we speak now, I earn at least Rwf500,000 in profit,” he said.

Nyakarundi attributes everything he has to RPF Inkotanyi, and more specifically President Kagame, whom he say he got the cue to venture into modern farming practice, and vowed to continue using his opportunity to transform his community.
