From 2017, a group of lawyers led by Robert Muse of the Levy Firestone Muse LLP, an American law firm, have been investigating the role of France in the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi.
The investigation was commissioned by the Government of Rwanda.
The group on Monday April 19 tabled their report dubbed; ‘A foreseeable Genocide: the role of the French Government in connection with the 1994 Genocide against the Tutsi’.
The 600 report in great detail gives chronicles the role of France in Rwanda dating back years before the Genocide against the Tutsi, their military involvement in protecting the regime among others.
